Global Ocean Observing System Accepts Ocean Bottom Pressure as an Essential Ocean Variable and SMART as a GOOS Project

The Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) announced that Ocean Bottom Pressure is a declared Essential Ocean Variable. It also announced SMART as a formal GOOS Project.
