ARF-IX selects Alcatel Submarine Networks as the vendor supplier for MEDUSA

Capacity Media interviewed Norman Albi, CEO of ARF-IX, who confirmed the finalized plans to build a submarine cable system in Southern Eaurope through North Africa. ARF-IX and ASN entered into negotiations at the end of 2021 and signed a contract in February 2022 awarding ASN the contract to supply and install the cable system. Albi further discussed factors leading to the decision to build MEDUSA in this region such as providing connectivity to this area and more.
